Internet Explorer Users: Accommodation Listings will not work with Internet Explorer, as it is no longer supported.
On occasion patients are required to travel to out of town locations to obtain specialist and outpatient medical services. Patients are often accompanied by one or more family members who provide support and comfort to the patient. Patients and their family members may not have a friend or relative with whom they can stay and must stay at a commercial property.
The listed properties offer accommodation at discounted rates to British Columbian patients and their families who are required to travel to out of town locations to access non-emergency care. The patient and their family member are responsible for the total room cost.
Discounted room rates are subject to availability and at the option of a property.
To book accommodation:
- Call listed property to confirm rate and availability.
- Inquire about proof of medical necessity, if required.
Please note: This listing is made available as a courtesy to British Columbian patients and their families. The Ministry of Health, the provincial health authorities, and Procurement Services Branch will not recommend a property to a patient or their family, and there is no obligation on the part of a patient or patient’s family to stay at a listed property.
